GOALS

Here are my goals for reading, writing and math for Term 3.

The Puriri Plant

The puriri grows in the North Island in coastal areas.

The puriri tree can reach a height of 20 meters

The puriri leaves were boiled and applied under the ear.

Puriri  leaves in water was given by  

mouth to treat sore throats.

Puriri leaves in water can also treat muscle pain, backache and sprains.

Bark from the tree has been used to create  dyes that  are yellow and brown in colour.
